Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

By downloading, installing, or using any DriveReady app, or by using drivereadycanada.ca, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our apps or this website.

What DriveReady is

DriveReady apps are practice test and study tools intended to help learner drivers prepare for their provincial knowledge test. Each app offers one free practice test, with additional tests, an exam simulator, and progress tracking available through a one-time in-app purchase.

Not affiliated with any government body

DriveReady apps are for educational and practice purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any provincial government or licensing authority — including ICBC, MTO, Alberta Transportation, SAAQ, SGI, MPI, SNB, RMV, Access PEI, or Service NL. All official rules, regulations, and test requirements are governed exclusively by your province’s licensing authority. If anything in a DriveReady app or on this website conflicts with official provincial materials, the provincial authority’s information takes precedence. Always treat your province’s official driver’s handbook as the authoritative source.

No guarantee of results

Our questions are written based on each province’s official driver’s handbook and are designed to reflect the topics, format, and difficulty of the real knowledge test. We can’t guarantee they are identical to the actual test questions (provinces don’t publish those), and we can’t guarantee that using DriveReady will result in you passing your knowledge test. Passing the real test depends on your own knowledge and preparation.

Purchases

The one-time unlock purchase available in each app is processed through Google Play. Pricing, billing, and refunds are governed by Google Play’s own terms and refund policy — we do not process payments or refunds directly. Once purchased, your unlock is tied to your Google Play account per Google’s standard terms for in-app purchases.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or scrape content from DriveReady apps or this website, and not to use either in any way that violates applicable law.

Intellectual property

All content in DriveReady apps and on this website — including questions, explanations, design, and branding — is owned by DriveReady unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

“As is,” no warranty

DriveReady apps and this website are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep content accurate and up to date, but we don’t warrant that content is error-free, complete, or current at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveReady is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps or this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of DriveReady apps or this website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
