Privacy Policy
DriveReady (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes a suite of provincial driver knowledge test practice apps and this companion website. This page explains what information is — and isn’t — collected when you use our apps or visit drivereadycanada.ca.
The short version: DriveReady apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no names, no email addresses, and no location tracking. Everything you do inside a DriveReady app — your scores, your progress, your streak — stays on your own device.
Information Collected by Our Apps
None. DriveReady apps do not require or request an account. They do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers. Test scores, streaks, and progress data are saved using your device’s local storage only, and are never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is permanently deleted along with it.
In-App Purchases
Unlocking full access within a DriveReady app is handled entirely through Google Play’s billing system. We do not see or store your payment details, card number, or billing address. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was completed, so we cannot process refunds directly — refund requests must go through Google Play, following Google Play’s refund policy.
This Website (drivereadycanada.ca)
This website does not require an account and does not run advertising. We do use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand overall website traffic and search performance — for example, which pages are visited and which search terms bring visitors to the site. These tools use cookies and collect aggregate, non-identifying information about visits; they do not collect your name, email address, or other information that identifies you personally. This is separate from, and unrelated to, our apps, which — as described above — collect no data of any kind. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the cookie preferences banner on this site, and you can learn more about how Google handles this data in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Children’s Privacy
DriveReady apps are educational tools intended for learner drivers, most commonly teens and adults. Because we do not collect any personal data from any user regardless of age, there is no personal data collected from children either. If you have questions about a younger family member’s use of the app, please contact us below.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Since we don’t collect contact information from users, we’re not able to notify you directly of changes — we encourage you to check back periodically.
